COST SNAPSHOT
Start with a range. Then price the actual job.
Marble flooring commonly runs about $10–$40 per sq. ft. installed, with premium stone and patterns higher.
FloorCalc planning data refreshed August 2026. See methodology and sources.
The number that matters is the total scope.
Product price alone can miss labor, tear-out, subfloor work, waste, stairs, transitions and finishing. FloorCalc exposes those items instead of burying them in one multiplier.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Marble Flooring Cost Calculator FAQ
How much does marble flooring cost?
A broad installed planning range is about $10–$40 per square foot. Rare stone, large-format slabs and intricate layouts can cost more.
How much waste for marble tile?
Natural stone often warrants a higher allowance for cuts, veining selection, breakage and pattern matching. FloorCalc defaults higher than for simple plank flooring.
Why is marble labor expensive?
Stone handling, layout, substrate flatness, cutting and finishing require more skilled labor than many floating-floor products.
Does the calculator include sealing?
The model includes a small accessory/finish allowance, but specialty sealing, restoration or premium treatments should be priced separately when significant.
